We’re excited to celebrate Every Kid Healthy Week from April 21st to April 25th — a special initiative focused on promoting the health and well-being of all our students! Throughout the week, we’ll be engaging students in fun and educational activities around mindfulness, nutrition, physical activity, and emotional wellness.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s planned:
Mindfulness Monday:
Students will learn about mindfulness and self-care. Teachers will incorporate simple mindfulness activities into their routines.
Tasty Tuesday:
We’ll host a tasting station to explore a variety of fruits and vegetables. This is a great chance for students to try new foods and learn about healthy eating habits.
Wellness Wednesday:
Students will explore the Wellness Wheel, helping them understand how physical, emotional, and social wellness all connect.
Thoughtful Thursday:
We’ll focus on vaping and drug-free awareness, with activities designed to educate students about the risks of substance use and the importance of making healthy choices.
Family Friday – Parent Engagement Event:
Join us in the school garden beds for a hands-on planting activity! Families will work together to plant herbs and vegetables, while learning about healthy eating. Refreshments will be provided.
To help build spirit, we encourage all students to wear athleisure or sportswear/team gear throughout the week!
