I am pleased to announce that Rossano Galante, a world-renowned composer from Grand Island, NY, composed a brand new piece of music for the Salamanca Concert Band in 2017. This work features the natural and cultural beauty of the Salamanca region - by showcasing its spirit and charm through the traditional instrumentation of a symphonic concert band.
The River Seneca by Rossano Galante was premiered at the District Band Concert on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 6:30pm in the Salamanca HS Auditorium. Currently the piece is set to be published by Alfred Publishing in 2020. Please use the following links to learn more about Rossano Galante.
