This funding helps educate federally connected children. These may be the children of members of the uniformed services, children who live on Indian Lands, children who live in federally subsidized housing or children whose parents work on federal property. In the case of the Salamanca City Central School District, it is the children who reside on Indian Lands (the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegany Territory) who count as eligible under the guidelines and regulations of Impact Aid.
