The Salamanca City Central School District Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame is sponsored by the Salamanca City Central School District (District). Through the Selection Committee, the District will recognize individuals whose lives, accomplishments and endeavors reflect the values and tradition of excellence fostered by the Salamanca City Central School District. The District, established in 2019, a Selection Committee to accept nominations and select inductees who meet established criteria for admission as a member of the Wall of Fame.
Eligibility:
The Selection Committee for the Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame for the Salamanca City Central School District accepts nominations annually based on in-school or post-school contributions in several areas including educational, professional, arts, charitable endeavors and connection to the City of Salamanca and the School District. Noteworthy accomplishments in citizenship, leadership, athleticism and community engagement are also considered.
There is an established waiting period for nominees as established by the bylaws of the Alumni Wall of Fame Committee. Former school district employees as well as past Board of Education members (who may not have necessarily been a SCCSD graduates) may be considered following retirement or completing service to the District. Special friends of the Salamanca City Central School District may also be considered at the discretion of the Selection Committee. Members of the Selection Committee are not eligible to be nominated while still active as a committee member.
Nominations:
If you would like to nominate a person to be inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame, please use the following application form. Nominations must be submitted by the established deadline and on the correct form(s), additional documentations and materials may be submitted. The Selection Committee shall determine annual nomination deadline dates.
Previously submitted Nomination Forms will remain active for consideration by the Selection Committee for 3 years and be reviewed each year, along with any additional nominees
