Meet Our New Principal of Seneca Intermediate!
Hello Seneca Intermediate families! I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Seneca Intermediate. With over 22 years of experience in education, I’m excited to bring my passion and dedication to continue supporting our amazing school community.
My journey began in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District in North Carolina, shortly after I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a degree in Elementary Education. Throughout my time there, I had the opportunity to serve as a classroom teacher, Literacy Facilitator, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal, each role enriching my understanding and experience. I also earned a Master’s in Reading Education from UNC Charlotte and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University.
Four years ago, my husband, Rich, and I moved back home to New York with our two children, and I’ve been honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Seneca Intermediate ever since. Working alongside the dedicated staff, remarkable students, and supportive families here has been a privilege, and I am excited to step into this role to build upon the wonderful work happening in our school.
As Principal, my goal is to support each student’s social, emotional, and academic growth, meeting them where they are and helping them reach new heights. I look forward to strengthening the relationships I’ve built within our community and working together to make a lasting, positive impact at Seneca Intermediate.
Thank you for your trust and support—exciting things are ahead for our school!
