The SHS Indigenous Youth Council will be selling MMIWC tshirts – Missing Murdered Indigenous Women & Children.
They have been educating others and bringing awareness to this very important issue that has devastated Indigenous peoples and communities around the world. Please wear your shirt or wear red on Friday, May 3rd as we will be honoring those who are missing, those we have lost and help educate and spread awareness at our assembly. We also ask that you wear your shirt
or wear red on Sunday, May 5th as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
You may see MMIWG, MMIP, MMIWG2S – it is widely known as all of these. We appreciate your willingness to learn and help educate others about this important issue.
