Salamanca Warrior Keegan Hardy finished off his wrestling career with a pretty good senior year. Proof that hard work pays off.
At the beginning of the season Keegan’s best season was 12 wins and 13 losses, junior year, and his career record was 27 wins and 40 losses After a lot of off season lifting and a great football season he was ready to take on the heavyweight class. Saturday, Keegan finished his wrestling career for Salamanca City CSD with a 4th place finish at the 2024 Division 2 Small School Sectional Championships by going 3-2.
This season he had twice as many wins as last year and half the losses to finish at 24-7 and improved his career record to 51-47. What a finish to your career and the coaches want to thank you for setting a great example on the mat and in the clsssroom (2024 Scholar athlete) for your teammates and the future wrestlers at Salamanca!
Keegan also obtained his 50th career victory with a pin in the consolation quarter finals over Chautauqua Lake at the NYSPHSAA Section VI Division 2 Championships on Saturday!
