UPK & Kindergarten Registration
Universal Pre-K Full Day Program: Prospect Elementary School is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Universal Pre-K Program. The program is open to all district residents’ children who will be four (4) years old on or before Dec. 1st. The full day program follows the Prospect School schedule, with breakfast and lunch provided. Half day options are also available.
All applicants, fully registered by April 23rd, will be entered into a lottery system. This is required by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) UPK grant guidelines. Priority will be given to children who meet the eligibility criteria and live within the Salamanca City Central School District. Once each of the classrooms have met their size limit, per UPK grant guidelines, a waitlist will be created. Students with incomplete registrations will also be placed on a waitlist for future openings and screenings.
Those students picked through the lottery will be scheduled for a UPK screening on either May 2nd or June 5th.

If your student in currently enrolled in the Prospect UPK program, there is no need to register them for kindergarten. Please log into your Parent portal to update any address, numbers or emergency contacts.
